TREAT Youth Act

The TREAT Youth Act would amend the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act to reauthorize and fund a youth prevention and recovery initiative. The bill creates a five-year funding schedule, authorizing specific annual appropriations to carry out the youth prevention and recovery program (as defined in the existing law). The short title of the bill is the Treatment, Recovery, Education, Awareness, and Training for Youth Act (TREAT Youth Act). In short, this bill provides explicit, increasing federal funding from FY2026 through FY2030 to support prevention, education, awareness, and recovery efforts for youth related to substance use, under the framework of the SUPPORT Act.
