For the relief of Ivana Alexandra Sifuentes Arbirio.
This is a private/individual relief bill intended to grant Ivana Alexandra Sifuentes Arbirio permanent resident status in the United States. It would treat Ivana as eligible for an immigrant visa or for adjustment to lawful permanent resident status, bypassing ordinary grounds and procedures under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) if she files the required applications and fees within two years of enactment. The bill also provides a waiver of removal or admission grounds that are already on record as of enactment, directs the rescission of any outstanding orders against her, and, upon granting her visa or permanent status, reduces by one the annual total of immigrant visas available to natives of her country of birth. Additionally, it prohibits Ivana’s natural parents, brothers, and sisters from obtaining immigration benefits simply by virtue of their relationship to her. The bill would have to pass both chambers and be signed into law to take effect.
