FACE Act Repeal Act of 2025

FACE Act Repeal Act of 2025 would eliminate the federal protections known as the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act), by repealing 18 U.S.C. § 248. The bill removes the federal prohibitions on blocking, obstructing, intimidating, or using force against individuals seeking access to clinics that provide reproductive health services, including abortion. It also removes related protections for clinics themselves. The repeal would apply to prosecutions that are pending on or commence after the date of enactment, meaning pre-enactment cases would not automatically be retroactively affected.
