To authorize the Secretary of Defense to enter into arrangements with institutions of higher education to provide dual or concurrent enrollment programs for students enrolled in schools operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity, and for other purposes.

This bill would authorize the Secretary of Defense, through the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA), to partner with colleges and universities to offer dual or concurrent enrollment programs to students in DODEA schools. It also authorizes providing financial assistance to help cover the costs of these programs. In short, eligible DODEA students (including those outside the United States) could take college courses while still enrolled in high school, earning credits toward both a postsecondary degree or credential and toward high school completion.
