Honoring and celebrating National Boys and Girls Club Week of 2025.
This is a ceremonial House resolution honoring and celebrating National Boys and Girls Club Week in 2025. It recognizes the role of Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) in providing safe, after-school programming staffed by caring professionals to help youth develop skills for graduation, life, and work. The resolution notes BGCA’s expansive reach—over 5,500 clubs across all U.S. states, territories, and military bases, serving more than 3.3 million young people annually, including partnerships with more than 250 Native Tribal communities and many school-based clubs—across a broad range of program areas such as career readiness, leadership, STEM, academics, life skills, financial literacy, and civics. It designates the week of June 23–27, 2025 as National Boys and Girls Club Week and urges the public to celebrate and commend BGCA for its work.
