Safe Storage Saves Lives Act

The Safe Storage Saves Lives Act would broaden and codify requirements related to gun locks in federal law. It would require that a compatible secure storage or safety device (gun lock) be provided with every firearm purchased and, separately, that a compatible lock be available for every firearm offered for sale.
