Establishing an advisory working group to make recommendations with respect to relief portraits in the Hall of the House of Representatives.

H. Res. 582 would establish an advisory working group to study and recommend two women whose relief portraits should be added to the Hall of the House of Representatives, above the doors to the public gallery. The group would also plan the funding, commissioning, installation, and timing of these portraits, including whether any existing relief portrait should be replaced and how to schedule the installation with minimal disruption to House business. The working group would consult historians and Library of Congress staff, and must deliver a written report to the Speaker, the Minority Leader, and the Committee on House Administration within one year of adoption or by the end of the 119th Congress.
