Saving Vet Halls Act of 2025

Saving Vet Halls Act of 2025 would authorize the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to grant funds to eligible veterans service organizations (VSOs) for specific facility and technology improvements. Grants may be used to repair or rehabilitate VSO facilities or to acquire and upgrade technology at those facilities. To receive a grant, VSOs must submit a plan and other required information; the VA would evaluate applications based on need, plan quality, organizational capacity, and other factors. Grants are capped at the greater of the total planned cost or $75,000 per fiscal year, and a recipient cannot receive another grant under this program for the next five fiscal years. Grants cannot be used for constructing or acquiring a new facility. The act authorizes $10 million for this program, with funds remaining available until expended. Eligible VSOs include organizations chartered under a specified section of U.S. law and their local units.
