BIKE Act of 2025

The BIKE Act of 2025 would expand how federal highway safety grants can be used by states by expressly allowing funds to support on-bicycle education for elementary and secondary school students. It also directs the Secretary of Transportation to revise the Highway Safety Program Guideline No. 14 to emphasize nonmotorized safety education for students, including bicycle skills, road navigation, traffic rules, safety precautions, and helmet use.
