Blue Shield Privacy Act of 2025

Blue Shield Privacy Act of 2025 amends title 18, U.S. Code to broaden the items that are considered “restricted personal information” under Section 119(b). Specifically, the bill adds license plate numbers, biometric information, workplace addresses, school addresses, and global positioning system (GPS) coordinates to the list, while maintaining home fax numbers as part of the restricted set.
