Fiscal Year 2025 Veterans Affairs Major Medical Facility Authorization Act

This bill, titled the Fiscal Year 2025 Veterans Affairs Major Medical Facility Authorization Act, would authorize the Department of Veterans Affairs to carry out a major medical facility project in St. Louis, Missouri, in fiscal year 2026. The project would include constructing a new bed tower, expanding the clinical building, consolidating an administrative building and warehouse, erecting a utility plant, and building parking garages. The total cost cannot exceed $1,762,668,000. The bill also authorizes that amount to be appropriated for this project under the Construction, Major Projects account. In short, it sets the plan, scope, and funding ceiling for a significant VA facility expansion in St. Louis for FY2026.
