HONOR Act of 2025

The HONOR Act of 2025 would require the Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Cemetery Administration (NCA) to publicly post and regularly update interment scheduling information for every operational NCA cemetery, define what “interment schedule availability” means, and report historical scheduling data to Congress. It also mandates ongoing customer-service surveying for the NCA, including continued participation in the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) and providing Congress with advance notice of any changes to survey methodology, participants, or scope. The bill aims to increase transparency and accountability in how burial slots are scheduled and how the NCA measures and communicates customer satisfaction.
