MEDIC Careers Act of 2025

The MEDIC Careers Act of 2025 aims to improve how military medics transition into civilian health care careers and to expand targeted support for separating service members pursuing health care employment. It requires the Secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security (with Coast Guard matters) to develop recommendations with state partners and federal agencies on credentialing, bridging military medic credentials to civilian licenses, and facilitating smoother transitions.
