Commission of Fine Arts District of Columbia Residency Act

H.R. 4956, the Commission of Fine Arts District of Columbia Residency Act, would amend title 40 of the United States Code to require that a majority of the members of the Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) be residents of the District of Columbia. The bill preserves the appointment authority of the President but ensures that more than half of CFA members live in DC. The change would take effect one year after enactment.
