AIM Act
This bill removes multiple restrictions on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) by eliminating appropriations riders that limit firearms trace data disclosure, prohibit consolidation of firearms records, restrict physical inventory requirements, mandate destruction of instant check records within 24 hours, block FOIA requests on arson/explosives/firearms, restrict 'curios or relics' and military firearm importation, prevent license denials for lack of business activity, prohibit computerized record searches of out-of-business dealers, allow denial of shotgun imports not suitable for sporting purposes, remove limits on inspection frequency of firearms licensees, change license revocation standard from 'willful' to 'knowing' violations, eliminate de novo review in license proceedings, and revise licensee eligibility standards from 'willful' to 'knowing' violations.
